Bishop Linda Calhoun  BIO

Bishop Linda Calhoun  was born and raised in  Philadelphia, PA.  She is a resident of the West Oak Lane/Olney section of  Philadelphia, PA.  She is the mother of two children.

She graduated from Germantown High School of Philadelphia, PA.   She completed seven years of educational study, majoring in Religion at the A.M.E. Bible Institute of Moorestown, NJ., The Philadelphia Bible College, The Center of Urban Theological Studies of Philadelphia, PA., and Thomas Edison State College of Trenton, NJ.  She  attended the North Carolina School of Theology and received a Bachelor's Degree in Bible theology

She received the call to ministry in 1987 at Bethel A.M.E . Church, Moorestown, NJ.  She was ordained in the Ministry on June, 16, 1991.  She served in many capacities in the ministry as associate pastor, ministry counselor, Christian radio broadcast, and  Christian performing actress. She was recently consecrated as Bishop by Bishop Anthony Floyd of the Philadelphia Council of Clergy in the year of 2011.

Presently she is serving as Bishop/founder of Christian Church of Divine Truth, Ministries, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA.  She overseers and supports several  newly started churches in the Mt Airy/Germantown area of Philadelphia, PA. She teaches Bible Classes, Pastoral Developmental Classes, and Ministerial Classes, She attends the West Oak Lane Senior Center located at 7210 Ogonts Ave., Philadelphia, PA and conducts a weekly Prayer and Inspirational Hour Bible Class and teaches Praise Dance Classes. She serves as a Police Chaplain of the 14th District Police Precinct located on Haines St., Philadelphia, PA. She loves serving the Lord and preaches salvation of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
